The Potala at middle distance from the south, with the wall surrounding Zhöl (zhol) village at its base. In center of the image in front of the wall, the outer Zhöl pillar, Doring Chima (rdo ring phyi ma), can be seen, with the Zhöl main gate (gzhung sgo) behind it. The two Chinese-style pagodas that comprise the Khangser (khang ser) are visible at the same distance. In the foreground is the stone-beam Kelzang Bridge (bskal bzang zam pa) with people crossing it.Associated Resources
