The south face of the Potala seen from middle distance. The outer Zhöl pillar, Doring Chima (rdo ring phyi ma), is visible in the center-left of the image, with the two Khangser (khang ser) buildings, Chinese-style pagodas, located directly behind it and to its left, and the Zhöl main gate (gzhung sgo behind them. People can be seen sitting around the pillar, and crossing the stone-beam Kelzang Bridge (bskal bzang zam pa) in the foreground.
