Facing southeast toward Lhasa, from an elevated position along the path that leads up to the western side of the Potala. Zhöl (zhol) village is in the foreground, while the Zhöl pillar, Doring Chima (rdo ring phyi ma), and the two Khangser (khang ser), Chinese-style pagodas, can be seen be seen outside the wall to the center right of the image. The west gate and main gate of Zhöl are also visible. The mountains to the southeast of Lhasa are in the background.Associated Resources
