This image represents one of the religious figure and is widely performed all across the country during the Tsechu festivals. According to the history the dance of Tsholing was introduced by the famous treasure discoverer popularly known as Tertoen Pemalingpa in the 15th century. This dance of unique character was the manifestations of the Bodhisatvas who appeared in the form of an ordinary people in the world to subdue all the destroyers and evil spirits who intends to harm or do obstractions to the Budhha Dharma.
