A procession of monks carrying ritual objects and walking through the western gate of Lhasa, Bargo Kakling (bar sgo bkag gling), during the Sertreng Ceremony (tshogs mchod ser sbreng), which took place on the 30th day of the second month of the Tibetan calendar. The image was taken from a position northwest of the gate, and the procession is making its way toward the north. Crowds of onlookers stand nearby.Associated Resources
