A procession taking the Torma (gtor ma) away from the Jokhang during the Casting out the Votive Offering for the Great Prayer, or Mönlam Torgyak (smon lam gtor rgyag). The procession is moving in a counter-clockwise direction along the Barkor (bar skor), while crowds of spectators, mainly monks, line the streets. The southwest corner of the Jokhang (jo khang) is visible on the left side of the image.Associated Resources
