The south side of the Barkor (bar skor) facing east, with lay officials processing along the street toward the Jokhang (jo khang). This procession took place on the 24th day of the first Tibetan month during the Casting Out the Votive Offering, Mönlam Torgyak (smon lam gtor rgyag), at the end of the Great Prayer Festival, Mönlam Chenmo (smon lam chen mo). Monks and lay people watch from the street, windows, and roofs. The house in the background on the left side of the street is Zurkhang (zur khang) house, with Labrang Nyingpa (bla brang rnying pa) in front of it. The prayer flag pole to the right of Zurkhang house is the Sharkyareng Darchen (shar skya rengs dar chen).
