A crowd jostling to enter the Jokhang (jo khang) through the Shingra entrance south of the main entrance, taken from the Doring house. Among those trying to make their way through the entrance are a group of uniformed men wearing topee hats. A crowd, mainly monks and officials, are watching from the roof of the Jokhang. There is a group of people on the veranda below them, partially obscured by curtains of a dark-coloured material edged with light-coloured stripes.Associated Resources
