The courtyard in front of the Jokhang (jo khang) with the "Buddha's Hair" (jo bo dbu skra) willow tree on the left. Behind the yak hair curtain above the window is the verandah from which the Dalai Lama (tA la'i bla ma) would view proceedings. The west-facing verandah of the reception room, the Khamsum Tsomchen (khams gsum tshoms chen), can be seen covered by a yak hair curtain above the Jokhang's main entrance in the center of the image.Associated Resources
