A distant view of the northwest face of the Potala, taken from the Lhalu mansion, facing southeast. In the foreground, tents and spectators can be seen gathered at the site of the Dzonggyap Zhambel (rdzong rgyab zhabs 'bel), or "The gallop behind the fort" ceremony, which was held on the 26th day of the 1st Tibetan month.
