Description:
by Jessica O'Leary
Mule drivers and their pack animals approach the Potala from the west along a sandy road between 13-15 November 1936. The gardens near the Potala are separated from the road by sand banks on the left and a wall on the right. The high ridges that line the east side of the entrance to Dokdé (dog bde) valley can be seen in the background.Associated Resources
