The Serpent Temple, or Lukhang (klu khang), is situated on a small island in the middle of the lake north of (that is, behind) the Potala. The temple, with its Chinese-style roof, is in the center of the image surrounded by trees and gardens. On the left side, the round wall at the back of the Potala is visible.Associated Resources
