Ap Tshering Dorji Konyer of the lhakhang said that, the Bumthang Jampa lhakhang, Paro Kichu lhakhang, Tang Threl lhakhang and Khomdey lhakhang of Tibet were constructed on the same daythe murals of lhakhang were same like that of Jampa lhakhang, the murals of thousand Buddha. However, at the time of renovation of murals, the painters were unconfident and said that, we are incapable compared to our forefathers, we cannot bring them back as it is, said the painters. So end up painting new murals.
