Tsencham is the dance of the protector deity called Draktsen. The same deity is worshiped in other parts of Bhutan like kheng, Kurtoe and in the western regions. Therefore, the similar dances are performed at Rong lhakhang, Zhongmed, Zhungkhar and Tsangzhing in Kurtoe.
