Lo gyal Tun is situated on a steep mountain and it is a Geluk monatery. The monatery was built in 1466 and the monastery was in a fire accident in 1872 and later it has rebuilt in 1899 during the Qing dynasty. Again a huge landslide took place and subsequently most of the holy statues and scriptures and objects were being buried. Currently, there are ten monks at the monastery and three are Tibetan monks. This is the statu of De chok in Locha Thang monastery.
