Lugyal and Gonpo Gyid are native Tibetans from Luchu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province. Due to many issues related to women and their marginalized opportunities in society Mr. Lugyal came up with the idea to support and empower women in school and provide opportunities for them to become writers.
