Description:
Views of the main complex of byes mkhar mkhar gog (A-128). This large stronghold (stretches along the axis of a ridge for over 100 m) belongs to the oral tradition of mkhar rtse (castle summits) in the za rang district of gu ge lho smad. These various summit complexes are generally believed to have been founded before the Buddhist monasteries of the area, which sprung up after 1000 AD with the second diffusion of Buddhism.Associated Resources
