Monks can be seen blowing ceremonial trumpets, or rakdung (rag dung), on the roof of Chakpori (lcags po ri) Medical College. The gilt cylinder on the left side of the image is an auspicious banner. In the distance you see the front (south) face of the Potala with Zhöl (zhol) village and the Western Gate of Lhasa, Bargo Kakling (bar sgo bkag gling), at its base.
